Ooops I missed last weeks

It was a great rehearsal (as always)!! And it was a longer one! but the guys did me proud in turning up an hour early!!

Just to let you guys know the line up goes as follows:

Alex Nazaruk: Bass Guitar

Kevin Tickel: Drums

Luke Bosano: Guitar

Michael Northcott: Keys & Synth

They are all great guys, and pushing me to creating an awesome sound!!

Spent - 3 hours rehearsing this week, 4 hours rehearsing between the two and posts, 6 hours writing

Best So Far!!

The guys did really really well today! We have now got through all the tracks of mine that I want to do! I need to finish one of the idea that I've got going around that sounds really good!

Anyway! We've got all my songs together! Need to just fine tune them, arrange a few covers and then we will be ready to put some gigs on!!

So next year, check us out cause we will be gigging soon!

Spent 2 hours rehearsing 4 hours writing

The Second Rehearsal

On Monday, we had our second rehearsal and I introduced the guys to another song "To Be".

"Award" and "Cool With It" were sounding alot better, but we were missing the drummer, Kev.

So I stepped in, and did a "Phil Colins" and drummed and sang! Was a good practise and I feel we're progressing fast, and should be ready for gigs as soon as January next year!

Spent 2 hours rehearsing 8 hours in the week writing

First Rehearsal

Hey!

Had the first rehearsal today!! was only for an hour but it was good I think we got through alot in that hour, and kept concentrated throughout!

But yer the boys did me proud! Can't wait for the next one! But need to find more time to rehearse!

AND I need some singing lessons to make sure I'm getting everything perfect!

The Proposal

Hey I'm Joshua Mellor,

I've set up this blog for two reasons, one being that I need to for University, and the other being that I always wanted to start a blog, so that was a good excuse to start.

So here it is! This is me blogging, and with the University part of this blog I also have had to come up with a proposal for what I'm going to be doing this year. So my proposal is that by the end of the year I will have set up a backing band and performed 1 or more gigs and i will have recorded an acoustic EP. So we will see how far we get with this hopefully I will do what I've proposed and more!!
